Road closure from 21st July 2022

Starting 21st July 2022 until September 2022, Shrewsbury Road (on which the surgery is located) will be closed for essential works being carried out by Severn Trent. Access to Prescott Surgery will be maintained, but you will need to follow the signed diversion route to access it from the Prescott Roundabout. Please allow extra time for your journey!

Surgery Closure – Staff Training – 6th July 2022

The surgery will be closed for a half day on Wednesday 6th July 2022 from 1pm for staff and GP training. The dispensary will also be closed during this period and it will not be possible to collect medication.

If you require medical treatment while the surgery is closed this afternoon please call: 111 or 999 in an emergency.

Road closure

Please be aware of the road closures in the Baschurch area in the coming weeks if you are visiting the practice. See the details in the attached document: Road Closure.

19th May – Staff Training – Surgery closed

The surgery will be closed on Thursday 19th May from 1pm to 2.15pm for staff training.

If you need to contact the surgery urgently during this time please ring the usual surgery number on 01939 260210.  If your call is not urgent please ring after 2.15 pm.

Mental Health Awareness Week

Feeling lonely is something that all of us can experience at any point in our lives, which can have negative impacts on our health and wellbeing.

There are lots of simple actions that you can do to help others who may be feeling lonely this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, including:

  • Giving a friend or family member a call
  • Inviting someone for a walk
  • Reaching out to a friend for a cuppa

You might find that reaching out to someone else could help you to feel less lonely too.
