Mental Health Awareness Week

Feeling lonely is something that all of us can experience at any point in our lives, which can have negative impacts on our health and wellbeing.

There are lots of simple actions that you can do to help others who may be feeling lonely this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, including:

  • Giving a friend or family member a call
  • Inviting someone for a walk
  • Reaching out to a friend for a cuppa

You might find that reaching out to someone else could help you to feel less lonely too.

Find out how you can help lift someone out of loneliness here: https://www.nhs.uk/every-mind-matters/lifes-challenges/loneliness/

Covid 19

As we have now completed our requirements for the Covid 19 vaccination programme here at the surgery, please contact 119 for any Covid vaccination queries.

If you or anyone in your household has coronavirus symptoms or has had a positive test within 10 days, please do not come into the surgery.

As a healthcare environment, we will still expect patients and staff to wear a face covering in the surgery to ensure we protect the vulnerable.

Surgery Telephone Access

We are currently experiencing a high demand of telephone calls.  Our busiest times are between 8.30am and 10am. Please contact us after 10 am for all routine enquiries including making a routine appointment.

If you are ringing about medication please ring the dedicated medication line on 01939 261403.  Please do not ring the reception line with a medication query as this will block the lines for someone who needs to speak to reception.
